James Katsipis, a lifelong native of Montauk, New York, has assembled here a breathtaking portfolio of images that represent the world of cold-water surfing as seen through his own eyes, both in and out of that extreme element. James hardcore dedication to his craft has earned him an irrefutable place among the sports most respected photographers, faithfully capturing moments that 99.9% of the worlds population could never imagine: a "seals eye view" of freezing perfect waves, gigantic winter surf in Ireland, crystalline sub-zero reefscapes, and the equally brave and dedicated surfers who chase these scenarios.
